Personal Beliefs:
Understanding brings expanded consciousness that frees us from behaving repetitively and automatically. One overarching goal of therapy is to help people learn to respond to life’s challenges and obstacles with awareness and conscious intent. Many people sleep walk through life doing what others have told them, and what they believe others expect of them. They rarely experience genuine emotions, and instead experience the world through concepts and thoughts. They do what they think is acceptable and not what they experience through their senses their feelings, and their emotions. They have lost the sense of who they are, and what is truly important in life.
